According to a global report published recently, Himalayan glaciers disappeared 65 per cent faster in 2010-19 compared to the previous decade and ‘floods and landslides are projected to increase over the coming decades’ The Hindu Kush Himalayan region, which encompasses the highest mountain ranges in the world and contains the largest volume of ice on
