PRIVACY POLICY

In India, digital news platforms are primarily governed by the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, which outline ethical guidelines and a grievance redressal mechanism. These rules, administered by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, aim to regulate content on digital media, including news and online curated content. We vouch to comply the rules as mandated by the act, as stated. The Plurals ( www.theplurals.in ) has adopted a set of information management guidelines that serve as the basis for our relationships with our readers, contributors and other stakeholders vis-à-vis environment, climate change, public health, development and sustainability issues. Recognising the fact that Internet technologies, particularly the digital communication parts, are rapidly evolving, and that related protocols are still evolving ; guidelines are subject to change as required. If the changes represent a material departure from our current practices with respect to the use of personal
information, the changes will be posted on this page a month prior to taking effect.

We understand and appreciate how much the readers and stakeholders care about how their personal information is being used and shared; and we take their privacy issue very seriously.
